The budget, agency by agency
Every spending entity in the budget book: what it was given, what it bought, where it says the money goes, and how far it strayed from plan.
The enacted FY2026 budget lists 120 spending entities and prints a section for 119 of them — spending by economic class, the allocation across the fifteen counties and the six-digit line items — with what each actually spent in FY2024. The FY2024 book prints the same sections for 112 agencies, and is the comparison here. Liberia Ledger read every section of both, and every roll-up reconciles to its book's printed grand total.

TREEMAP · CLICK AN AGENCYArea is the FY2026 appropriation. Sectors alternate shade; agencies inside each are ordered by size. A tile carries its name when it is big enough to hold it whole; the smaller ones keep their area and give their name on hover. Select any agency to open its profile. The largest tile, General Government Expenditure, is new in FY2026: it holds the government's debt service, which until FY2025 sat in the Ministry of Finance.

SORT ANY COLUMN · CLICK A ROWFY2026 is the enacted budget, as printed in the FY2026 volume. "vs FY2024" sets it against the FY2024 budget as enacted in the FY2024 book; the Ministry of Finance and General Government Expenditure are not compared, because FY2026 moved the government's debt service from the one to the other. FY2024 spent is the FY2024 outturn the FY2026 volume prints, against that enacted FY2024 budget. Payroll share is compensation of employees over the agency's FY2026 total. County-coded share is the part of the FY2026 allocation attributed to a named county rather than "nationwide".

Entities with a budget of at least US$1M. Entity figures are the FY2023 estimated outturn printed in the FY2024 budget book, against the revised budget printed beside it; the ministry's FY2023 outturn report has no table by spending entity. That report's total is the Comptroller's cash payments at the report's US$0.1M precision, as are nine of its eleven sectors (Transparency and Social Development differ by about US$0.12M, offsetting); its revised budget has the book's total, divided differently between sectors.
